check your small rubber seal that runs around the outside(looks like half of a bicycle innertube). I had one of those go bad and had the same problem

no there is a little rubber seal that the screen rubs on. It is a big circle. It attaches to the door, I think with a big hose clamp, and the other side rubs on the screen as it rotates
