Looking at combines, I was wondering if anybody has done a fair comparison on these two, the dealership tells me they should bo the same capacity. My thoughts are bigger engine , bigger capacity and also they have alot of 9770 tosell. thnx in advance for any input

You won't see much of a difference between the two. 70s have some nice features. Double check the model year. 9860s only built until '07.

Where are you located in sask.?If you are in a higher yielding area with tough harvest conditions you should go with the 9860 if its a bullet rotor machine. You can put a chip in and that combine will give you more capacity without being stressed on the engine. Our 9870 averaged 1.3gals of fuel per acre during a really tough harvest(humboldt area),i think thats hard to beat.

Green tech sorry about that, the 9860 is an 07 , jaydee i am at melfort and yes it is a bullet rotor machine. It seems the 9760 and 9770 is very common and the 9860 is not quite as common in our dealership
