Thought I would put up the video I made from last year's harvest. It was a harvest of patience and a lot of stress. Winter wheat with tons of fusarium, rainstorms flattening all crops and making the fields a muddy mess (managed to get everything done without getting stuck shockingly), short soybeans with very low pod height, and a couple bad fields of canola with lots of schlerotania. On the positive side we had some very good yields, we got everything off before the frost, and everything is sold and all but 2 truckloads of winter wheat are shipped.

This is our first year with a straight head for the combine... old habits die hard I guess. But when the wheat is 18% and you can tie knots in the straw without it breaking because its so green, wheat plants don't slide on the auger header so we had to swath.

We are full tillage, so it was heavy harrowed, cultivated, heavy harrowed, cultivated, then heavy harrowed 2 more times. We don't normally do that many passes but we wanted to make sure the ruts were leveled and after some ditching we had to level some piles of dirt.
