We have a 60 foot Pillar Laser drill for sale. It has 10 inch spacing and is set up for two Flexi Coil carts. We put 2500 acres on it this spring, it is in like new condition. It comes with carbide mud scrapers, semi pneumatic tires, ISO compatible Agtron blockage full on seed, primary on fertilizer, 8 run primary's, air package for TBT cart going to seed, air package for TBH cart going to fertilizer, and hitch for TBH cart. This is a really clean drill and Pillar's customer support is great it is just too bad it doesn't fit our operation better. I can get more pics if needed, we are located on Canadian border north of Havre MT, PM for price.

Snipe, we pulled this set up with a quad track 500 at 6 1/2 miles an hour for wheat and 5 1/2 miles an hour for peas. If you're going to pull two carts I would not want anything less than 500 hp 450 will pull it with one. The hydraulics on our quad track is the single standard 55 gpm pump it was adequate but if we were buying a new tractor I would get the twin pumps. Don, the dirt on our farm is mainly comprised of a very fine textured clay loam it is very heavy and sticky when it is wet. We had problems behind the tracks of the lead cart and quad track when it would compact the hoe would ribbon the dirt off to the side and it would not lay back down over the seed. It is not a problem on our lighter ground but as I said before a lot of the ground out here is unique in its characteristics and the drill does not do well with that type of ground when it is damp. We would consider selling the tow behind cart with the drill but we need to keep the tow between. The tow behind is an ADX 3380 from 2005 it has 8500 acres on it. If you're interested I can tell you more about it and get pictures.
