I have a 2188 and must cross the solonoid under the hydro tank in order to start the machine. I put a new solonoid under the hydro and it did not help.
Where is the neutral safety switch maybe it needs adjusted??

The neutral switch is located on the hydro near the contol lever. You will probably need to replace it.
