Had to jump in on this one.
Back in the day the early Gleaner M's had a faulty transmission and would lock up 2nd gear (which is also 4th). I guess several machines were literally stood on their nose before word got out to road them with the header as low as possible just in case.
I guess something stuck to me from that and I road with header low still today. I just raise for bridges etc.
