We have a new to us massy 220 swather and cannot get it started. I think I have everything in neutral but the green light won't come on. Which will not let it engage the starter. All fuses are good. Has anyone had this problem? Where do I start looking?

park brake on, hydro lever in neutral, header engage all the way down, then slowly spin steering spin steering till green light shows. The one that catches most new people is the header engage. wiggle everything first then start checking switches for faults

Caught me this july when I went to move mine and couldn't start it! Ended up I didn't have the park brake on!

Oh the joys of getting a 220 to let you start it is like trying to get misses in the mood. Doesn't hurt to check wires on those safety switches and that the switches are working. The steering wheel and hydro stick switch can be chronic problem.

I found them. Got it started. The header engagement switch isn't getting enough contact so I'll have to try and move it closer. Thanks for all the responses greatly appreciated.
