In past years I have had challenges trying to harvest swathed buckwheat with our 2366 with a Kile front specialty rotor. The machine is so agressive on the straw it breaks it into short pieces that I can't keep out of the bin.A friend of mine has a conventional Massey and it feeds the straw through without breaking.I wonder if it would be worthwile to try and make the rotor less agressive or is the rolling twisting action the problem and not really fixable.Once the straw is really dry the short pieces will blow out but this delays harvest to close to winter.
