I have a 1999, 2388 combine. Last season the steering started to get harder and harder to turn, sometimes it would break loose and operate normally, while other times it became very hard to turn.
The bushings in the steering column wear out a bit, and usually this causes the wheel to "wobble" if you turn it real fast. Does it feel like something is binding up in the steering column, or more of a hydraulic resistance?
