Our own wheat is not quite ready....but the next door neighbor's has
some right next to our shop that is ready. Here their pair of 2388"s
are working over a "bench" that lays right above Fivemile Creek.

Re: 2388's

The cart set up at the top edge of the bench....where it is
half way level. One of the combines starts to unload onto the cart.

Re: 2388's

Splitting up.....the combine heads back to the cut and the cart
starts to drop off the bench to the truck landing below down by
the creek.

These are really nice 23's....very well maintained. In addition to the
Hillco leveler, they are GPS equipped for yield monitoring and set up for
auto header height control.

A closer look at their grain cart as the Quad pulls it up onto the bench.
In the background "Old Pete" waits for another load down on the flat
along Fivemile Creek.

Cuddling up to the cart to unload. Note the extra fuel tank and the counter weights on the rear axle. The 23's are a bit nose heavy; the
rear tires are also ballasted.

Going away.....gives a good look at the Hillco leveler in action. This
system keeps the separator level on slopes up to 27%. Again, you can see the counter weights on the bottom side of the rear axle. Some
pretty nice wheat ; running in the mid 70's.

Always nice seeing pictures from that area. Wouldn't that head have a hard time moving the crop up hill to the feederhouse? Or does it have a full finger auger?

Take care,

Nathan

I'm not warning you at all. Heck, I love threads like this one with all the GREAT pictures. Keep 'em coming. However, we do have many people on this forum that are still on dial-up. Currently, there is over 2 Megs of pictures on this thread, so they would have a long wait. That 56K sticker is just a friendly note to those people.

Did I mention I like these pictures?
