I saw an ad in the Agweek, Farm&Ranch Guide, or some paper like that, maybe it was the farm forum. Anyway there was a harvester, L&M Harvesting maybe, that was obviously getting out of the business. He had 4, year 2000, 2388s, all with about 5000 or 6000 E hours on them, priced between 40 and 50K. Just seemed cheap but I guess it depends on how much work has been done to them. It is now not uncommon to see 2188s going for low $30s and JD 9600s going for $20K.

Does seem cheap. Like you said about what upkeep they have done and what crop's they havested with them. Let us know what you hear.

according to rbauction results, it seems it's more common to see 2188's around $20k and JD 9600's going for around $30k, not trying to start anything, just an observation.
