Have an MT 855B with 30" tracks. They are probably 80-90% tread. The only time I run out of traction is trying to turn sharp on a mean hill or in mud that I really shouldn't be in( the drill ends up sinking before the tractor). 30" tracks work fine for me. Maybe 36" would be better?

36" on an air drill no question. Any time you can reduce ground pressure in front of the drill its a plus.

Also you want the hydraulic hitch option if its a large drill, there will only be a few times you need it but its worth every penny when you do.
