Looking at buying a 3640 Coupe ,has a Perkins DSL. What to look for?

Check the splines for the steering on top of the front wheels. Common to wear out. Easy enough to change the clamp on parts. Dont want to fix the splines on the shaft coming out of the axel. Also brakes are expensive to repair. Give them a once over too.

Brakes suck but other then that they’re really reliable and cheap units to run

Definitely cheap to run. Ran a 3630 for 20+years. Don't think it cost $1/acre over its lifetime. Lightest footprint of any sprayer. Will go through just about anything.

Check the booms. On mine they were rusted out on breakaway end of the main section and needed to be repaired.
