Motor turns over fine, sucks air in well, no smoke as i turn it over and will not lock up or try to fire when i spray starting fluid in it? Thinking rings are gone
Have you bled the fuel system of air?
Use hand primer pump and loosen bleed screws on fuel filters one at a time til all air is purged.
Tighten bleed screws.
Crack one injector nut.
With throttle lever on max, turn over engine til it fires.
Tighten injector nut.
I would bleed fuel first, make sure getting plenty at each injector pipe. If no good then running over valve adjustments. Is the manifold heater fitted and working?
Did you just change your engine oil? did you put in light winter oil 0w30 or 10w30 I was told yesterday, that too thin of engine oil would cause this problem. You need enough engine oil pressure to trigger the injectors to spray.
