I figured they would cash out a little over $400,000. Have to cover a lot of acres.I just built one on Deere's website. $519,000 by the time you add auto steer, sectional control, boom height, etc and that didn't include float tires.Who the f*** can afford this new equipment?
The problem isn't who can afford it, but who needs it.I just built one on Deere's website. $519,000 by the time you add auto steer, sectional control, boom height, etc and that didn't include float tires.Who the f*** can afford this new equipment?
Would be interesting to know what one would cash out at, fully loaded I would guess 450ish, just basing that on a 350quote I had on a new 4930 5 years ago.I figured they would cash out a little over $400,000. Have to cover a lot of acres.
Too much.wonder what that sucker weights????
I also broke one immediately. What I did is cut the brackets at the base and rotate them back 90 degrees and reweld. They are then pulled In parallel with the boom and closer to the cab. The view is not compromised imo. And haven't broken another in several hundred hrs.If its like the 4038, the mirrors are mounted to the boom. You can see everything great but they are easily damaged by low hanging limbs. I've broken two mirrors in 100 hours.
Good idea! I might try this when my boss is out of town, he might get anytime upset if I'm modifying a brand new machine.I also broke one immediately. Do you have any pics these new mirrors suck in my part of the world every time I go into a field with trees it turns them but I have got good and knowing where they go while hanging off the right side like a monkeyI also broke one immediately.
