So as stated above, my 2wd 5240 Maxxum won't move. Was getting a load of seed at the neighbours and forward quit on me, still full reverse function. Then it started working again and I headed home and then forward and reverse died en route. Found a blown fuses under right side console panel.

Got it home and put a new fuse in and I can't get it to blow the fuse again, and it still won't move. And ideas anyone? Solenoid? Relay? Wiring?

I believe that you problem is one of the range transmission safety switches, they are on the right hand side of the trans kind of behind the HYD filter and here is the part number 1987326C1. There is also a test for them so you can check them out before you start throwing parts at it. And on another note I have a 5130 that the clutch cable wore out and caused a similar problem.
