6088 chopper ?
On our 6088 the pan under the straw chopper has several rows of small rectangular holes with cover plates over them. There are three rows on one side of the concave bar and four on the other. You can see it on the Case parts catalogue. Go to 6088, straw spreader and chopper, 09F-14 Chopper bottom sub. What is the purpose of these holes? There is nothing in the manual about it.
