Kust got the a new 6088. Things were going good for the first couple houndred acres, other then a few bolts comming loose on the Head. The only major issue that we had at start up 10 mins ago was that half way accross the feild the header quite and the the A post woud not read the the rotor speed on and speeds. as this happened to any one else?? What are some of the common Problems to watch for???
Turns out the EMU (computer) had to be replaced. I was thinging possibly the rotor speed sensor was the problem. if the computer can't read the rotor speed it won't let the header run for more then 10 sec. a safty feature so you don't plug it.
How do you remove the bracket supporting the main sieve drive on the right side of the 6088 combine? The bracket and shaker drive arms have been removed except for the one that also is attached to the bracket that drives the sieves. The bracket and shaker arm hits the elevator housing.
