i'm having problems with hydrostatic drive on my 6600. the filter in tank has been replaced, allways full of oil, belt on pump tight. at first it won't climb incline well. now while harvesting it just won't get up to speed. i move speed selector back and forth, and it will move o.k. for a while, but if i move selector too far forward it starts slowing back down.
thanks in advance. any help would be appreciated.

I'm dealing with similar issues on my 6620. Here's what I've found with help from my tech guy.
1) someone before I owned the machine had put regular hydraulic oil in the hydro system instead of low-vis.
2) we replaced main relief valve. This helped some..
3) we replaced the charge pump. This helped some more.
4) we're gonna try shimming the relief valve to increase pressure further. If it still acts up for me, it's rebuild time.
On a side note, have you checked to be sure the control cable housing is tight in it's mounting bracket on the lower end?

Hope this helps...
