Not sure when the change was made but they did change the piston cooling from a nozzle in the block to the nozzle in the rod. You can make the blocks work with the right bearings or pinning the oil cooling hole in the main web. If you are completely changing out the complete running engine then it will probably bolt right in if memory serves me right. I was thinking, but could be wrong, when they made the change they also went with the Ambac pump which uses different gearing on front of engine. If you want to keep the Ambac pump then the gears will need swapping.
