Sort of...

If you want a monitor you get a 600. You also have the option of ordering a monitor delete should you have a 600 laying around from another piece of equipment. No universal display plus available from the factory.

I have a 7010 ordered with a 200 monitor because the 200 was $3000 less money. I have heard that 2008 7010's only come with 600 monitors. Will I get a bill for the difference in the cost of the monitors?

What the heck is that?

The smaller color non touch screen. Its the base screen in the CR combines, but is an option on the AFs as a delete/downgrade package. Its ok, but its hard to go to that after running a 600.

The dealers price book shows an option for monitors. You have a choice between the 200 and the 600. The 200 is a more basic monitor and it is not color. I have talked to two different farmers that ordered the 200, but when their combines came they were equipped with the 600.

According to the CIH Machine Builder Web Site, you can order a 7010 with the 200 monitor.

I'm not sure why you would want to do this....it makes the machine worth $3000 less if you trade it in. Everybody I know that has an older 8010 updated to the new pro 600 this year.

The 200 monitor is a color upgrade of the VT or virtual terminal. It came as standard equipment in the first MX305s in 2006. Our 305 had it for the guidance but we upgraded to the 600 in November with the planter trade in. they had very limited storage and only did straight line guidance so they had to store all of your a-b lines in the rdl.

Why even off a 200 monitor??

Yeah really when you spend 260,000 or whatever it cost don't b***h about 3,000.

I love the new big color touch screen

its alot better than anything else you get on the other combines.

we got a upgrade deal on the grayscale monitor for our planter too.

so i'lll have it to use there too.

That sure will be nice.

only complaint is the termanology sucks at times...

I understand that Case has made their monitors inhouse since 1999. I could be wrong.

Quote:actually they do make the monitor the desktop software is case ih branded agleader.

don't ask agleader for help...

there jerks..

or so has been my experience

From my experience the agleader folks are far from jerks, I feel they have very good service. There's no way they would be near as succesful as they are if they were just a bunch of jerks especially being a small company.
