Been a Green walker man all my life but just bought a 7010 and was wandering what people are running for operating speeds in soybeans and corn. I have a 35' platform, bean yields around here average around 50bu. I am running a 8 row corn head without chopping units yields average around 175 bu. I like the simplicity of the machine without all the belts and chains. I hope I won't be disappointed. Can't hardly wait till fall to try it.

I have an 08 7010, 12 row 20 inch (20 foot cut) corn head & 35' platform. In 60 bushel beans 3.5 to 4 mph. In dry 40 bushel beans would get over 5mph. In 20% 200 to 280 bu. corn unloading on the go with hills would run out of power at anything over 5mph. In the good corn I did occasionally hit 4000 bu/hr on the pro 600 moniter. A 10 inch auger at the bins will not keep up! You will love the 7010 if you have enough wagons, trucks & help. The 50 hour and longer grease zerks are great.
