Have a new 7010, the top seive will only open to 20 fron the cab. You can open it more with the button on the back, but if you try to close it from the cab it will go down to 20 when you touch the button. so there is no way to fine tune from cab. Mechanic said thats normal, but I don't belive that can be true. Can anyone help?

Perform the in cab calibration.

do both the lower and the upper seives do the same thing if so check your grounds and if not you could have a seive acuator going bad

Done the cal, now the top seems to be working. The lower one will to to 25 but when you release the button it goes back down to 21. I ran the bottom one at 35 the other day but now it will not stay there.

The potentiometer position in the ram tells the header it's position. The controller won't open further than 21 so you need to trick the calibration and make it a bit wider. Be careful not to run off the end of the slide.
