7120 Hydro Weak in Hills

Our new 7120 seems week in the hills, especially if if the hopper is half full or more. I run in 2nd gear and always have to switch to 1st to make it up the incline. I can understand having to do this on the really steep slopes, but not on every incline. My 2388 could make it without issue when half full. We are only pushing a 30 ft 2020 head and the problems happend in both durum and lentils. Next year we will be using a 35ft 2020 or 2162 so it will be an even heavier load. Since it is a new combine I want to make sure everything is as it should be and let warranty take care of the problems. Other than this issue we are very happy with the machine. It has made a fantastic sample and the de-slug has saved my butt more than a few times. Just want to see if there is any way to make the hydro perform better when under load. Thanks.

i had a 40; macdon on my 7120 and same issue as you, was not able to climb any hill with a load in the hopper, dealer came out and checked pressures, max pressure was 3500 instead of 6800 recomended, they turned it up, half of a turn and wow, i can climb any hill now in 2nd with a full hopper, Case needs to do a better pdi on these things, heard a few like this now, call your dealer
