I have a new 7120 with a 40ft draper and was wondering how everybody set theirs up for beans. I was thinking round bar in front and large wire or skip wire in back. My previous combine was a JD9660 and I always ran round bar in front and there standard grates in back.

Last year I ended up running small wires in front with every other wire out.Large wires in the rear with no straight bars on the rotor.Skipwires in the rear put too many 2 inch stems in sample .This year I'm planning on running all largewires. The 7120 has a lot of rotor capacity , so the less MOG falling on the cleaning sieve the better.

NO ROUNDBARS it not a green combine. vanes in medium. large wires in all front positions. throw some spiked rasp bars in the back you'll like how it works... use your round bars in corn ALLWAYS. one in the front left one in second right.. open up the sieves turn the air up. nothing to it... FT
