You are correct for location.
7120 repairing cone in front of rotor cage
My 7120 has worn a hole in the cone in front of the rotor cage. I haven't talked to a mechanic directly, but it sounds like this is built into the machine and must be patched in place. The machine has about 750 separator hours.
