We traded for a 30' 740 cf header and the cutter bar is wavy when raised up to be rigid for wheat. We have it all the way up with the lock pins in.

Is this normal? Does anyone have experience with this? Whats the fix?

I have no experience with that particular head, but all heads have the same basic principles, and that is not normal for ANY header. I would say your carrying arms are bent, or something is broken.

I think the carrying arms are straight and solid. The sickle bar is floppy enough that I can push down on the high spot and make it be a low spot, but then right past the 2 closest carrying arms the sickle bar pops up on either side making 2 high spots. Its like there is too much sickle bar for the head and its got to do a wave to get rid of some of the slack.
