Always heard the 7500 had frame problems...weak frame. Did that issue get taken care of on the 50 series? Looking at a 2011 7550 what's the scoop on these machines...good machines?

If you use 8 row or bigger maize fronts on them there is a chance of cracking but there is a strengthening kit that is available which solves the problem not sure if the kit is standard on the 7050 series.

50 series comes standard with beefed up frame. Recommend getting the late serial number 50 series. They have the much better cornerpost displays and some other electrical updates

2011 will have improved strengthening reinforcements. If installing 8 row headers, front tires need to be load rating 178A8. Also 2011 is factory capable of running manual rowsense or full autotrac depending on how SPFH was factory configured. JD dealer can provide that information with a ser. #.

About lvl with the back of the front tyres on the bottom of the main chassis rail or atleast thats where ours cracked.

We ran a 710 cornhead on our 2003 7500 but it came with the strengthening kit for 10 row head. our 05 7500 didn't have it factory installed but we installed it. Our 7750's both have it as standard equipment
