We have a 94 or 95 7800 with about 5500 hrs that has this intermittent electrical gremlin where the dash and fan lose power. It affects nothing else (radio and lights, excluding turn signals, still work), you can shut the tractor off and restarts fine. The only dash lights that work are the turn signal indicators and the high beam indicators. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or has a hunch on what might be the problem as the dealer can't seem to figure it out.

ELX relay comes to mind. I think it should effect more

It seems that the bottom left relay is loose in its socket and sometimes it must disconnect itself. Wriggled it and it came back on. Thanks of the info pointing me In the right direction.

I strongly encourage you to get that fixed before the loose connection arcs, overheats & melts the block. If you deal with it before it gets too bad, you can likely pull the terminal out of the block, clean it, squeeze it back together slightly, and use some dialectric grease to keep it clean. Or, if the terminal is already burned or the "spring" has been ruined (ie metal heated to the point it won't stay tight on the relay blades) - replace it on the wire. It is WAY easier to replace the terminal than the entire block!
