Hello !!
We have 8010 - 2008 and 9010-2008 but don't have any experience with rapeseed yet
.
What are the main configurations /sieves, concaves, slotted modules etc./ and crop settings.?
Is there a different settings for 8010 and 9010?
Can you tell me some special for harvest this crop?
Thank you in advance!!!!!!

well for te rape seed is nost important to keep MOG away from the sieves. Usually we use smallest concaves and sloted grates. Last year we tested blanc grates (no holes at all) the in the last module at the end of the rotor. In wet rape seed it didn't made any diference but in dry conditions it was relay useful. If it is wery dry you may wont to move vanes to speed up position to get rid of the MOG as fast as possible. If it is very wet or green conditions you may need to double rotor RPM from what is in the book. Last year we try another trick witch worked very well - we increased concave opening about 5mm from book value and reduced rotor RPM. then we filled up the rotor by the ground speed to keep the engine load at the max. capacity impressive but at the high ground speed it is more difficult to maintain constant feeding that means jumps of the losses if hand is shaking on proposal handle

hope it helps
