There is a 2.5 inch hose on the guards on this flex header.
This help throw the crop into the auger when the crop is short.
And rocks will land behind it and stay there till you can clean them off.

Great pics!!!

I've never seen Fababeans straight cut... here we need to swath them to get them to ripen. Do you dessicate them? Any trouble with shelling, considering you're using an auger head?

We did dessicate the beans to stop regrowth. We sprayed them the same time as the peas and finshed all our harvest and came back to clean them up. Abit of shelling but the grass was a big problem here in this rented land. hurt the yeild alot. In the good parts yeild was over 80 bu/ac but the avg. was only 35bu/ac. We found out the hard way that it only likes clean fields. But we wanted the N fixing on this feild.
