Ordered an'08 8010, after talking to case engineers at louisville show they said the small tube rotor was the best if we were only going to use it in wheat and soybeans (especially green stem soybeans). Also your thoughts on a header. We ordered a 30' 2020. We are thinking of changing it to a flexdraper. We are located in N. Alabama. We went ahead and changed it to the small tube. Did we do the right thing on the rotor.

Yes you did. We saw about a 20% increase in capacity in tough green stem beans last fall in our 7010. Its a wash in corn but it made our 7010 a monster in beans.

You should definitely put a draper on it! I know they are more expensive but if you run one for an hour you won't want to let it go.
