Just wondering if anyone is running a new Case Flagship machine on tracks with rear wheel drive as well. Any problems? , Going tracks and 4wd for the first time so am keen for any feedback.
Bought a used 2011 9120 with tracks and 4wd last year. I did not have any problems with it. Run 40' Macdon on front and 12 row 38" Geringhoff. Had to cut some double crop beans late last fall on ground you could barely walk across it did not leave much of a rut. We will be starting milo harvest here in 10 days looking forward to getting back in the field.
I agree we have a 9230 on tracks with 4wd. 35' Macdon fd70. We planted a swather with trelleborgs on it, combine went right beside where we were stuck didn't even sink. The tracks are awesome, but keep road speed down below 16mph, they say then u will never have seal problems then.
Our 9230 runs full time quad track tracks. 750 mm tires on the back. I figured it out on my quadtrac that the imprint is about the same as a 225 pound person walking. The combine can go places where u don't want to go, and make way less of a mess.
I don't see moving these tracks from combine to tractor. When u order a combine from factory on tracks there are heavy drive components that need to be added. It's not just take tires off, and put these tracks on. Short term may work but long term drives may not last.
