Like grain line said most tractors use the solenoid to release so if the coil burns out it locks in the mfwd. If you can find the solenoid you can ohm out the coil our remove the coil and power irt up and see if it magnetizes

The MFWD solenoid ( PART NO.RE211156)?is the solenoid closest to the right hand side at the rear of the transmission. On the left hand side of the trans is an identical solenoid which is used for the park brake.

First I would disconnect the rh solenoid and see if there is power with MFWD disengaged. If there is power I would then swap the solenoids to attempt to isolate failed solenoid. ( machine will not move from park if swapped solenoid Is faulty)

Best of luck

I just went through all that with my 7520. I did all the tests, fuse, relay, solenoid, wiring. Finally traced it to a bad brake switch. IF when you turn the key on the mfwd light comes on momentarily then the circuit is good. Test the solenoid pins with an ohm meter should be 10 ohms. Should be 12 volts on one wire from the cab, and the other wire is ground. Have you had any messages about brake issues? Does the diff lock work? Good luck.
