Machine clutch not kicking in. Rotor turns on. Fuse is good and switched relay in the electrical cabinet behind the seat. No broken wires on clutch. What do I need to do to check relay by the clutch? Where does it get its power from? Can I check for power with engine off?

Did you take the cover off of the piece on the very end center of the shaft that the wires go into, to actuate the clutch , had issues with bad connections in there before . And yes you can check for power with engine off and kjey and thrasher on .

Had the unloader belt go a couple years ago and it damaged one of the wires going into the clutch. Was able to pull it apart and repair in the field

I have also had issues with wire connections. I would check there first

I had a bad wire from the brush holder to clutch. It wasn't damaged and had no insulation missing. It just had a bad spot in it for some reason.
