If your charge pump needs replacement than start looking at salvage yards, when we did ours several years back JD discontinued them.
As far as hydro removal take the tire off for easier removal, disconnect your lines and unbolt it from the trans and frame and slide it out. I made a bracket to attach to the bucket on the loader to remove/install the hydro as it is heavy. If you do this make sure you have someone to guide you as there isn`t much clearance around it.
You may want to replace the input shaft of the transmission as the splines would wear and shear because they had no lubrication. The new shaft is drilled to allow some oil to get there.
