9" Straw Walkers

Hi All, first post here.
Lots of good info, and fun reading here!!

I have a question that some of you may be able to help with...
Does anyone know which model Deere combine had 9"+ (they must be slightly over 9") straw walkers?

I have an old C. B. Hay bean combine that someone converted from tables to straw walkers. The cranks are still in the machine but the walkers are missing. The cranks have five 6" journals and wood bearings. The width of the machine is 49 1/2", so the walkers can't be much over 9". I suppose they could have been something other than Deere, but I don't think so.... Anyone know??

Never heard of the machine you're talking about, it certainly sound like it could have had Deere walkers from probably the 55, 95, 105 combines, all of which used the same walker, they would have been about 9-1/2 inches or so in width. Most were 5-step walkers, but "straight" walkers were available for the pre-1967 combines. Hope this helps.
