Monday evening while combining corn error codes 1591 & 1592 came on. They are lost communication with cylinders 4 & 5.

Tech has checked engine harness, tested all injectors & replaced ecm still same codes. Engine running on 4 cylinders. Has anyone had this problem if so what solution. Thanks in advance.

Had a similar problem with an 8010. Ended up being oil was getting into the plug of the injector and causing an open circuit that would cause a miss fire. Use a good electrical cleaner on the connection and see if it goes away. If it does you need a new wiring harness. It will test good but the plug is getting loose and allowing oil in to the connection. We installed the new harness and the mechanic used a good silicone around the plug after connection to try and keep the oil out. Hope this helps.

After changing ECM, #4 & #5 injectors, wiring harness this week all per Case instructions, tech sends assist back to Case that nothing works.

Case contacts Iveco, who informs them that it is actually the #6 injector that is causing the problem by pulling to much amperage away from other two injectors since they are on the same circuit.

We are getting another injector overnighted and hopefully can get back to harvesting corn tomorrow.

had similar problem on 8010 but only on one injector. I traced it down to a pin was not in contact at the connection between where the injector wiring comes from the engine and then connects to the wiring harness on the right side of the engine. Fixed this and it fired right up properly and no problems since.
