On our 2nd year with our 25' draper and having problems with soybean stems getting jammed between the cutter bar and the right hand snout. When it does this, we leave a strip of un-cut/mashed down beans behind the head. Since our head is a 25' it only has the one sickle driver on the left side. We have added the "driver strap" to the problem side hoping that it would help shove beans towards the belt. It may have helped some but not alot. It seemed that last year it only was happening in green stemmed beans. All of our beans have been green stemmed this year so far so we have been having troubles. Any suggestions?

Made a bracket that fastens to the skid shoe, and a filler panel that bows outward that fastens to the bracket and a fender washer in the poly. Also requires 2 open back guards like the head has on LH drive end along with associated hardware. Did this with a couple of scrap pieces of stainless steel had laying around. Made a big difference so far.

Had the same issue last year on an Agco demo 35' last year. Ended up loosening the guard & tapping to the outside of head to tuck the guard tip behind the skidshoe. Made it a poor demo, wish I would have learned from it.

Also be sure reel is level to ground. You can tweek by repeatedly pressing button. Forget what the buttons are labeled. The op manual will tell you and it will remember what you tweaked it to. This adjustment should be done if on side or the other is allways feeding better than other side.
