We have a 9400 and hydrostatic seems weak, rpm's dont drop much but speed does. Going up any incline in 3rd gear it slows way down and park brake light comes on, is this usually the charge pump?

Could be a charge pump, but make sure your not low on hyd oil first and change hydro filter if it hasn't been changed for a while. Not sure why your park brake light comes on, unless your park brakes are on slightly, shouldn't have anything to do with the hydro.

Parking brake is released by charge pressure. If charge pressure goes low your parking brake is probably coming back on. What happens to speed etc if you go in reverse. It sounds to me like your high pressure fwd relief valve is leaking. Most of those you can swap them with the rev one to see if you correct the problem

The relief valves are interchangeable, they are on opposite sides of the block. If your reverse has full power that rules out any internal leakage of pumps/motors. A failing charge pump will generally show up in all conditions not just going up a hill. If it is just a signal directional problem that eliminates a lot of the internal components
