sure it can be done, like the previous post states, it will take some $$ to convert:
1. Changing to hooks on the feeder house to pick the head up and possibly ading a wedge kit.
2. Either change the combine to a single point connection or change the head to a the multi point hookups.
3. Add the nessecary bundle from john deere to read the hydraflex pressure and adjust the pressure.
4. Deere makes a kit to run the dial a matic system on the 600 heads, doesn't work the best. I would highly suggest buying the kit from headsight that allows you to run the newer header height contol system on a combine with dial a maitic.
