Why is the header slowing down and finally stopping when I engage it? I can cut the switch to off and turn it back on and it'll run perfect for a minute or so and start slowing down and eventually stop. TIA

Sounds like a problem with the seat safety switch or its wiring. After 5 seconds without a bum in the seat, the header should disengage for safety reasons.
