1990 9500 jd combine. As soon as the combine is started, the hot light on the overhead bank of warning lights comes on and stays on. The gauge shows normal and the engine is not running hot. Separate sender on engine? Any ideas? Thanks.

There are two sensors on the top left hand side of the head. One of them may be u/s, or you have a wiring issue on them. Not sure which is which, but possibly the sensor with one wire is the alarm, and the one with two wires goes to the guage. Unplug them one at a time to find out!
