Working on a 9500 with the standard (not a spike tooth) cylinder with standard rasp bars. Compared to the new bars I've got about 1/16" wear on some bars, and up to a 1/4" on others so I've decided to change them. Just wondering if there is a standard wear limit at which you are advised to change them? Couldn't find anything in either the repair or operators manuals.

That sounds like a lot of wear. While you are at the job, place a straight
edge on the concave, and if it is worn more than 1/8" then it also needs
replacement. Good time to replace both when feeder house is off.
Then check out the feeder chain and rear sprockets for wear.

Decided to be a little psycho and did it with the feeder house on. Probably do the concave next year. Feeder chain and sprockets look pretty good but I'd like to try a Gibson flexible feeder chain because I always have to straighten out stone damage.
