That adjustment should be in your operators manual, I didn't find the 9500 operators manual online but did find the 9550 and its the same procedure and measurement. First check it as per slowing down the cylinder speed variable belt all the way and then decide if you need to adjust it and just do a bit at a time and then start the separator and speed up the cylinder a bit ... then slow it down all the way and obviously turn off the combine engine to be the safest, recheck the gap and you can use a length of 1/4" rod or a 1/4" long bolt for the tool to reach into the gap. Once the 1/4 diameter tool can slip through the gap between the two sheaves without too much play ( less then 5/16 as it states ) , its set. Over time with some belt wear/stretch you can recheck it and adjust if needed.
