It should run it just fine, we ran our old 9510 with an 8 row for 600 acres or so about 6 years ago since our 6 row had technical difficulties and had to be rebuilt from the frame up under warranty.

It was a little bit of a pull because it's a smaller frame than a 9600 but it worked ok.

I would suggest pulling every other pin in the concave and cutting it half off. This will keep from overloading strawalkers, although this has a reverse affect in soybeans. A 25' platform will overload sieves in my past experience. Had a 9500 set up this way with 6 row, corn eattin sob! Traded that for 9550 choked it down to 3-3.5, but it does a much better job in beans off the sieves. I hope this helps your decision.

One guy here runs a 7720 titan 2 with an 8 row... Seems to work ok except he can't open a decent yielding field without backing up and dumping. He doesn't run very fast of course.

Kinda sucks, I will likely be helping him since he has a ton of corn and I only have a 6 row head for my 9600.
