Been looking for a new..er combine for a couple of months now. We've been looking for either 9510 or 9550 deeres. Found a 2000 9550 RWA, CM 10 miles from home. they came down 67 grand for us because it has 3300 engine hours and 2200 sep hours. It has the huge maurer extensions, and i think 800s for front tires. Looked it over for about an hour the other day and found it needed close to $5000 worth of parts within the next year. they said we can't get it until may. The machine is cosmetically very good other than a little crinkle in the unload auger. What do you guys think? TIA

P.S. have also been looking at R-62's and really like them except they are a tad bit expensive.

We have a '95 9510 with 2200 sep. hours and 2800 eng. hours with a 925R for $59,000 for comparisson. It's only seen wheat so I know it's not worn out.

Thanks Alex. Guessing by your location it prolly doesn't have cm or rwa. Am I correct in saying this. We priced it out to add them(CM, RWA) and figured on adding another 15,000 to the price of the machine.

Quote:'95 model 9510????????? thought the XX10 series were made in 98 and 99.

Yeah something not right there.

If you found 5 grand of repairs needed from a 1hr inspection I'm sure you could top 10g with a thorough checkover. RWA is worth about 15g new, 7500 for a good used one.

I'm not a salesman, I'm not there to sell anyone machinery. I talk to you about what you have and what I can do to keep you happy. I don't even keep a list of what's on the lot. I just refer you to the website or a salesman, which one would you like to speak with? 1-800-JD-COLBY and I bet you can find all the answers you need.
