my neighbors 9600 has lack of power and a 47e code come night fall He has replaced the 47e sensor, any input would be greatly appreciated thnx

been a while ...but if i remember right when my 9600 thew that code it meant the air to air rad was plugged and incoming air was too hot and engine would cut power.....i would try blowing out your rads

Jd hit the nail on the head. Our 9600 has a cronic problem with that in corn. It's a fuel derate code so there isn't any engine damage from the hotter intake air. Cleaning the air to air usually buys us a week or so with out a code. Not sure but maybe do a good check of all the wiring harnesses around the engine.
