Hey everyone new to the fourm and first post. Think this site is awsome, lots of tips and advice from so many experienced ppl. Our farm has been browsing for a different combine for a while. We are curious of size difference between the 1995 9600, 9750, a 9760 non bullet rotor, and a 9760 bullet rotor. I've never really found anywhere that actually compares harvesting ability and speed. We combine winter wheat, corn and beans. We currently have the 9600 8 row corn head and 925 flex head. Would want to go with 8 or 12 row corn and probably 30 or 35 flex. Just wondered if a 9760 would be twice the size or time and half or just how they compare. Just figured for and extra 100,000 you should get something. Thought that the sts should add lots of capacity but don't know havent been around one. thanks for the great site. jared

I only have experience in wheat, oats, barley and canola. Brother's 9650 STS non bullet is about 1.3 times my 9600 in those crops, with less loss. Dealer wants $205000 diff from me for a 2008 9770. WOW, that is hard to accept for a small farm. I agree it's a great site! Interested in your replies too.

if you have enough man power run the 9600's. Went to a 9760sts and ya about 25% faster in the dry and at night about the same. i thought it would be twice as fast but its not.
