Is anyone running a 936D on a 9610 in good wheat? Is it too big or too heavy for the 9610? T.I.A.

Re: 9610 & 936D

There are guys around here running 936Ds on 96XX combines with no problems. 3 years ago we ran one on a 8820. They work fine on a 96XX.
Re: 9610 & 936D

We ran a 36' Macdon on 9600 and worked great if you are looking for HD lift cyls I have a set 2 years old.419 770 1558
Re: 9610 & 936D

We also ran 36' drapers on our 8820's and 9600's and had no problems at all. Some of ours had the big cylinders and others we just turned up the hydraulics and the lifting problems were solved.
Re: 9610 & 936D

Put the big cylinders on and end of problems about $2000.Ran in wheat 75 bu and 3.5 mph.Makes the chopper work a little.
Re: 9610 & 936D

it is not always about the speed. 9600 with 30 ridgid at 4 miles per hour = 15 acres
9600 with 36 ' draper at 4 mph= 18 acres 12 hour day x3acres more 36 acres drapers will kick butt all day, enough xtra acres to pay for the draper and fuel
